I’m all geared up and ready to head out. I am just going to wander around today since the Guild is not so busy today. I packed some food with me today just in case I find myself too far from town. Let’s start by following the coast for a while, might get lost out there if I just head straight out into the dunes.
~~~Journal Entry 1300~~~
I am still following the coastline. Cleared out the monsters so I can have a break. Now I’m just trying to beat the heat. My sword doesn’t look too good, but it’s the best I could do with the bit of gil that I have. I’ll just have to make more.
~~~Journal Entry 1600~~~
I broke off from the coast and found an oasis. Of all things out here, I snapped my sword in half. I have to fight with my fists now. I’m surviving though, so I’ll make it home alright. By the way, I finally found that damn rock. I’m going to finish the last of my food, drink some water from the river and start heading back.
~~~Journal Entry 2100~~~
Well that wasn’t too bad, I’m getting used to being out for so long. Yet it is nice to be back in town. I took care of the chores of selling the goods and closing the quest for that lousy rock. He gave me a copper ring for it… useless. Well I’ll just hang on to it anyway. At least it fits nicely. This blasted sword, I won’t get any gil for it. I’ll see what I can do with it tomorrow.
