Day 11

Xzander is running down the shores, sword drawn and breathing steadily. He jumps and slices through weak monsters that come up to him.

~~~ Recording 1200 ~~~

Heaving breathing drown out the calm winds. Xzander pierces his sword deep into the sands and kneels down for a breather. Only half a moment passed before he stood back up and forced himself to get further. A cry of rage comes from him and runs off to find some more prey.

~~~ Journal Entry 1700 ~~~

I don’t feel too well. Maybe I’m coming down with something. I can’t let it slow me down, I have to keep pushing. The auction house is stuffed with all sorts of odds and ends that I keep picking up. But it’s my least concern that it sells right now. I need to find someone that can help me… where’s Tisa?

Xzander>> Hey, Ron.
Ron>> Evening, X. Are you alright? You don’t look too well.
Xzander>> Actually, no I feel like crap. Have you seen Tisa around?
Ron>> Tisariel? No, she’s out of town.

Mareeh sneaks up on X.

Mareeh>> Hey There, Xzander! Oh you don’t look too well.
Xzander>> Hi Mar. I feel horrible right now.
Mareeh>> Yes, I can tell. What’s wrong?
Xzander>> I don’t really know, I feel dizzy and drained.
Mareeh>> Do you feel tired?
Xzander>> Yeah, like ready to pass out.
Mareeh>> Eat. Ron, bring him some bread and meats. Also plenty of water! Xzander, what have you done today?
Xzander>> I left before sunrise and just ran around killing monsters. I got back not even an hour ago.
Mareeh>> Wow, you are really pushing yourself out there. You are obviously over exerting yourself. You need to rest! I’ll be right back, I need to call in a favor.

Mareeh disappeared out of the bar and Ron brought out some roasted ham. Xzander ate a hearty meal and soon was interrupted again by Mareeh.

Mareeh>> How are you fairing now?
Xzander>> Still the same. If not worse!
Mareeh>> Hang in there. I got a friend on the way to help.

Soon after, the doors open and a robed hume lady strolls in warily. Mareeh waves to her and gets her attention. The lady pulls back her hood to reveal the summoner’s horn and makes her way to the bar where Mareeh waited. She pulled a vial of red liquid and passed it to Mareeh muttering something softly under her breath. Mareeh took the vial expressing her thanks with a nod and a smile, then turned to X and opened the vial for him.

Mareeh>> Try this.

Xzander took the vial and looked at it for a while then drank it.

And blacked out.
